What is Packetto?
A free web app for tracking sticker collections. Pick an album, mark what you've collected, track your duplicates, and find collectors near you to swap with — with leaderboards, achievements, and streaks along the way.
Is it free?
Yes — tracking, swap matching, proposals, and messaging are all free. Packetto Pro is an optional supporter subscription that helps keep the project running; it doesn't lock core features away.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Verification keeps leaderboards and swap matching honest, and it lets us reach you for password resets. After registering you'll get a one-time verification link — open it before your first sign-in. Didn't get it? Check your spam folder or contact support.
Why should I set my country?
Your country sets the flag next to your name on leaderboards and limits swap matching to collectors near you, so trades are actually practical. You can change it any time on the Account page.
How do I track duplicate stickers?
In the All view, tapping a sticker you already own banks a spare copy, shown as a +N badge — it won't un-collect it. Tap the badge to manage your spares. To remove a sticker entirely, switch to the Collected filter and tap it there.
How does the sticker scanner work?
Tap Scan in an album and point your camera at the code printed on the sticker's back (like FWC 4). The code is read entirely on your device — photos never leave your browser. Prefer typing? Quick entry takes whole packets in one go (MEX7 9 12).
How does finding swaps work?
Each album has a Swaps page that matches your spares against what collectors in your country still need. Mutual matches come first. From a match you can send a swap proposal — agree on the stickers, mark them shipped, confirm arrival, and rate each other when it's done.
What is Packetto Pro?
Pro is an optional supporter subscription (or a gift code) that helps cover hosting and development. Everything you need to track and swap stays free — Pro is a way to say thanks and keep the project going.
How do gift codes work?
A gift code unlocks 365 days of Pro. Redeem it on your Account page — codes are single-use and tied to your account once redeemed.
Can I share my collection with friends?
Yes. Every account has a public profile link (/u/…) showing your albums and progress — anyone with the link can view it read-only, no account required. You can also copy your missing and duplicates lists as plain text for chat apps.
I forgot my password. What now?
Use the forgot-password page to request a reset link by email, then open it and set a new password. If you signed up with Google or GitHub, just sign in with that provider instead.
Can I protect my account with two-factor authentication?
Yes — optional 2FA with an authenticator app can be turned on under Account → Two-factor authentication. You'll get single-use backup codes in case you lose your device.
Does my data sync across devices?
Yes — your collection lives in your account, so it's the same on your phone, tablet, and computer. Packetto also installs as an app (PWA) and keeps your collection viewable when you briefly lose connection.
